Over the past few weeks, there\u2019s been a large push to immunize children with the polio vaccine, however some workers are finding it difficult to do their job when parents are refusing to allow their children to receive the treatment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe problem mostly comes from posh localities,\u201d says Kamaljeet Kaur, one of the healthcare workers. \u201cPeople do not open their doors. We keep standing in the sun but they are least bothered. When we tell them we have come to administer polio drops, they ask numerous questions and ask us to show our ID card. And finally after so much interrogation they say they have already administered the drops to their kids from his\/her doctor.
